3,600 new home developments for Homes-On-Line

Particulars of new homes for sale on more than 3,600 developments throughout the UK can now be found on www.homes-on-line.com following a link between the Internet property portal and 'Your New Home' magazine.

The information covers particulars of homes being built by some 540 developers and is the largest and most comprehensive site listing of brand new homes available in print or on the Internet.

On entering the 'Looking for New Homes' section of Homes-On-Line, visitors can search for properties on new developments in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man by entering details of the area to which they are looking to move, giving an indication of the number of bedrooms required and their price range.

The site then displays details of new homes covered by the search criteria including details of the development's name, its nearest town, the housebuilder and site telephone number, the types of property available and the estate agent handling the property sale.

David Rossiter, Managing Director of Your New Home magazine which has a readership of more than 75,000, said: "We choose Homes-On-Line to launch this new service because we know it to have been a leader in property market web sites for many years and felt that we could offer a valuable addition to the information already contained on their pages."

The new link is the latest in a series of recent developments which have seen Homes-On-Line offer a new mortgage-finding and processing service through a link with Your Mortgage Magazine and a free valuation service to potential vendors after linking with national estate agency relocation and referral group Partners In Property, Britain's fastest growing network of independent estate agents.

Managing Director Guy Baker, who launched Homes-On-Line in 1996, said the new homes service would further extend to scope of his site, which currently attracts more than 10,000 visitors a day and has more than 85,000 subscribers to its electronic newsletter - a figure which is growing at a rate of some 4,000 a month.

· Further recognition for Homes-On-Line's position as one of the market-leading property websites has come from Alliance and Leicester who have selected Homes-On-Line to promote www.movingimproving.com, the bank's new website which covers all aspects of 'moving and improving' a home.
